Syllabus

Course overview and goals

The B2D academic supervisor and student will discuss and come up with an agreed-upon research theme. The student will then start preliminary research related to the theme:
1) Expanding knowledge of the specialized field of study, while conducting a search of the literature
2) Developing focal point of research
3) Training in research methods, and enhancing oral and written communication skills necessary to disseminate research findings

Course description and aims

B2D Pre-research Training will enable the student to:
1) Acquire knowledge sufficient for conducting full-fledged research in their specialized field
2) Evaluate the impact that the research could have on society, further enhancing its significance
3) Acquire fundamental skills and competencies necessary to complete a full-fledged research project
