Course overview and goals
Students will stay for about one week at partner universities and research institutes related to energy and informatics, present their research, discuss their areas of expertise, and plan and propose a feasible fusional research project in the future.
They will also present their research, including proposals for research projects they have planned, at international conferences attended by faculty members and researchers from partner universities and companies. Through these activities, students will acquire skills to utilize the three scopes of energy, social science, and big data science, as well as develop an international perspective and international collaboration skills through exchanges with researchers and students from other institutions.
Course description and aims
To plan and propose a feasible fusional research project in the future utilizing the three scopes of energy, social science, and big data science through discussion with researchers in the partner universities and research institutes where you will stay. In addition, they should be able to acquire an international perspective and international collaboration skills through exchanges with students from other universities.

Class flow
Prior to the Forum, guidance on preparations will be held, so each student should make their own advance preparations after deciding on the overseas partner institution to which they will be sent. During the stay in the overseas laboratory, the students should actively engage in research exchange, such as discussions with overseas faculty members and students regarding their own research presentations, etc.

Study advice (preparation and review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 50 minutes preparing for class and another 50 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
