Course overview and goals

【Badminton】

The course is taught using badminton as the teaching material. Experience and age (grade) are not required, so students who can actively participate in the class are encouraged to take the course. Classes are developed to enjoy the game while training to improve badminton skills. The class also aims to improve skills, knowledge and physical fitness so that students can take up badminton as a lifelong sport in the future. Communication, co-operation and social skills are developed through group work in pairs and groups in class.

Course description and aims

Goals of this course are:
(1) understanding the significance and importance of sport activities,
(2) developing your exercise habits,
(3) understanding cultural background of sports
(4) learning sports manners and rules
