Syllabus
Course overview and goals
This course aims an introduction to cultural anthropology. Students will be able to give some thoughts to what is culture, why we learn culture, and how different view of the world is from one culture to another culture, through workshops and real experiences. The aim of this course is to encourage students to broaden their minds, as well as to enhance their communication skills and acquire anthropological perspectives on diversity and complexity of human culture and social life. Lectures will be active in doing workshops.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Have an understanding of cultural diversity.
2) Express own opinion as well as understand others' ideas in the world with distinct values.

Class 7 | Modern age and human: Workshop: "How should we live?" | Capture modern society anthropologically and understand its meaning and explore how to live as "human" facing contemporary tasks. |
Study advice (preparation and review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
