Course overview and goals

Master course students learn advanced expertise to complete a master thesis. In order to obtain achievements in a limited term, it is quite important to conduct research systematically and confirm the progress regularly. And also, to be able to express clearly the points of the work is needed for a researcher or an engineer.
The purpose of this course is to clarify the master's thesis research execution plan, report on its progress, and to acquire presentation and communication skills for discussion of their own cutting-edge research through discussions with researchers in other fields.

Course description and aims

By completing this course, students will be able to:
1) Create a research plan.
2) Express clearly the points of the research in a poster presentation.
3) Explain and discuss their own research to other researchers in an easy-to-understand manner

Course schedule Objectives
Class 1 Workshop Make a poster presentation. You are required to make a poster presentation including the following points. 1. The background and purpose of your research with the motivation and significance must be given in your poster and explained in the discussion (The whole image of your research must be explained), 2. The research goal to match your conception, 3. The research strategy and plan to reach the goal, 4. The current progress of planning and experiments, 5. The future research plan and idea to reach your goals based on the current progress.
