Syllabus

Course overview and goals

This course is designed to introduce the variety of policies, such as industry/innovation/energy/education/construction/transportation and case studies of these policies will be discussed.
Every lecture should be in Japanese.

Course description and aims

Upon completion of the course, students are expected to be able to:
• Acquire the basic concepts and understanding of the topics covered in this course thorough lectures;
• Develop capabilities of analyzing the historical and current cases of policies;
• Demonstrate capabilities of discussing the complexity of policies.

This lecture will be conducted with active government officials at policy sites as guests.
