Course overview and goals
This course develops the basic grammer which is learned in Russian: Bsic Course1. It introduces basic russian language and Russian culture.
The course focuses on learning vocabulary and basic grammar. Students will also acquire basic skills for oral communication and writing.

In the end of this course students will be able to :
1) read and pronunce Russian 2) understand some grammer topics 3) communicate in basic frases

Class flow
At the beginning of the class, the instructor explain words, phrases and grammer. Using the text book, students practice grammer, conversation and writing skills of Russian.

Study advice (preparation and review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.

Evaluation methods and criteria
