Syllabus
Course overview and goals
The Philosophy has a long history more than 2500 years from ancient Greece. Throughout its long history, philosophers has examined a wide variety of issues.
For example, even today, there are various "philosophy of X" (X can be any subject), such as philosophy of science, philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of biology, philosophy of neurology, philosophy of language, philosophy of law, philosophy of music, philosophy of history, and philosophy of Artificial Intelligence.
In this lecture, we will trace the history of philosophy, and investigate a few specific issues.

The goal of this course is that you will be able to:
1) understand what philosophy is.
2) understand the history of philosophy.
3) formulate more appropriate questions.

Study advice (preparation and review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
