Course overview and goals

This course provides exercises of cutting-edge knowledge and skills for systems and control engineering. Students must join labo-activities including experiments and seminars to train their skills.

Laboratories are categorized by research fields; instrumentations, control theory, system design, analytical mechanics, precision mechanics, and intelligent systems. Materials and problems will be provided by each group accordingly.

Students must become familiar with the cutting-edge of research activities in laboratories on systems and control. They must be able to decide suitable laboratories for their graduation thesis.

Class flow

Students will be divided into teams. They are requested to visit laboratories of research groups according to suggested order. Problems and topics will be provided by instructors.

Course schedule Objectives
Class 1 Orientation is held on the first week. In the following weeks, classes on the exercises in the five fields of instrumentation, control theory, system design, analytical mechanics, precision mechanics, and intelligent systems is held. Each student conducts training in all areas. Understand the fundamentals on the five fields of instrumentation, control theory, system design, precision mechanics, and intelligent systems.
