Syllabus

Course overview and goals

This course is off-campus internship in the industry. Students learn the way of thinking, sense of value and the working process in the industry through the actual R&D work with the researchers and engineers of the company. The basic policy is 2 weeks to 1 month of full-time work. The negotiation about the R&D themes and working conditions and contract is carried out in each department which students belong to. Note that if the department provides with its own internship course which is authorized as a career course it should be taken in the first place.

Course description and aims

・Students understand the reality of R&D activity and the way of thinking in the industry and also realize the difference in R&D between in the university and in the company.
・Students can take the chance to review own research doing at the university from the viewpoint of meaning and the role in the society.

Based on the evidence such as various kinds of papers and reports, the academic supervisor judges the credits and the judgement is authorized by the course.
