Syllabus

Course overview and goals

This class aims to enrich your health and physical fitness through a online class using Zoom. The guidance will be held at the first class, and the more detail information will be provided on how to conduct this class. Please note that you need to apply to one of Wednesday classes that you are eligible through the education system to attend the first guidance. Otherwise, you will not be informed about the access ID and password of the Zoom class of the first guidance.

Course description and aims

Students will learn basic skills such that they are able to accurately demonstrate basic skills in games, and enjoy those sports.
The aim of this course is for students to experience one of the life-long sports and understand "body knowledge" that can be leveraged for maintaining and improving health, and contribute to vitalization of spaces.

Class 1 Selection of your class and guidance Registration of your class. Set the goal and plan for your daily exercise
Class 2 Understanding the importance of exercise for human health Record of your daily exercise
Class 3 Understanding the selective-brain cooling system to avoid heatstroke Record of your daily exercise, and setting the plan to prevent heatstroke
Class 4 Understanding the brain mechanism of antidepressant effect of exercise Record of your daily exercise and mental state
Class 5 Understanding the bodily awareness and the central fatigue Record of your daily exercise and bodily state
Class 6 Learning relaxation training Record of your daily exercise and the heart rate by the respiration method.
Class 7 Learning psyching-up methods Record of your daily exercise and the motivational level
