Course overview and goals
As the society shifting from the industrial society to the knowledge society, many organizations are facing the existing high-cost structure and inflexibility to respond to the drastic changes in their corresponding markets. In this class, a new organizational structure with high cost-performance and flexibility will be discussed.
Particularly the use of information and communication technology for organizational innovation and organizational restructuring will be studied.
Course description and aims
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1. understand a new organizational structure with high cost-performance and flexibility o respond to the drastic changes in their corresponding markets
2. understand how to use information and communication technology for organizational innovation and organizational restructuring

Class flow
Beside regular lectures, two case studies will be presented followed by discussion. Also, a group work and a presentation will be required for students.

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
