Syllabus
Course overview and goals
Lectures on how to manage intellectual property in research and development and commercialization that will lead to the success and new competitiveness of new businesses. In particular, lectures will be given on data intellectual property strategies, which have become increasingly important in recent years, and intellectual property strategies including standardization and trade secrets in companies.
Course description and aims
Understand the basic concept of data intellectual property, trade secrets related to the patent system and the Unfair Competition Prevention Law, and outline of limited data strategy.How to integrate the intellectual property strategy by industry in the novation process by DX Learn how to proceed.

All the instructors have practical experience in the field, but in particular, we have invited Japan's leading professor, Toshiya Watanabe, as a lecturer, on data intellectual property strategy.
