Course overview and goals
This course explains minimum necessary knowledge of property rights and describes actual project practice particularly facusing on institutional aspacts. It also explains project finance based on current economic circumstances.
Students are expected to understand minimum necessary knowledge of urban development projects, such as players, system, process, plan-making and project finence, and to understand its role on built-up environment.
Course description and aims
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) understand the kinds and system of urban development projects;
2) understand the project planning of urban development;
3) obtain basic knowledge necessary for planning urban development project.

This course will be basically by lectures, but there will be exercise problems occasionally within the class.

Study advice (preparation and review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.

Level of understandings of basic knowledge necessary for urban development. Minor exercises (30%) and final examination (70%)
