Course overview and goals
Doctoral course students make a presentation to faculty and students outside Tokyo Tech and discuss the content together in foreign languages via on-line systems. It aims to improve their ability to deepen their knowledge in their specialized areas, presentation skills and communication skills. In addition, they understand the assessment of their research in the society and create values in their scientific technologies. By these processes it aims to obtain high specialty, international presentation and communication skills.

The student taking this class is expected to obtain the following abilities required for doctoral course students.
1) Presentation skills in foreign languages
2) Communication skills in foreign languages

Class flow
Doctoral course students make a presentation to faculty and students outside Tokyo Tech in foreign languages. The faculty check the quality of the presentation.

Study advice (preparation and review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend a certain length of time outside of class on preparation and review (including for assignments), as specified by the Tokyo Institute of Technology Rules on Undergraduate Learning (東京工業大学学修規程) and the Tokyo Institute of Technology Rules on Graduate Learning (東京工業大学大学院学修規程), for each class.
