Course overview and goals

Signal processing for transmitting audio images, communication protocols, and technology on recording and display will be lectured.

Course description and aims

Learn the basic techniques used to distribute content such as audio images.

Based on experiences of TV receiver software and Web system development, Hasegawa will lecture about computer graphics and the World Wide Web.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Evaluate the degree of comprehension of basic techniques used to distribute content such as audio images.
20 to 30% of evaluation will be done by mini-reports in classes. Rest will be evaluated by the final exam.
