Course overview and goals
This course pursues a long term project for two weeks or more at companies located in or outside Japan.
The aim of this course is to cultivate a wide view and rich communication skills by conducting research and development activity in different environments from Tokyo Tech.
The total effective work time in the company longer than 80 hours is required.
Course description and aims
1) Ability to conduct research with global awareness of the research and development trends.
2) Ability of communication to conduct smooth research and development with sufficient mutual understanding.
3) Ability to solve the emerged issues and to propose creative ideas by use of the professional knowledge.

Study advice (preparation and review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend a certain length of time outside of class on preparation and review (including for assignments), as specified by the Tokyo Institute of Technology Rules on Undergraduate Learning (東京工業大学学修規程) and the Tokyo Institute of Technology Rules on Graduate Learning (東京工業大学大学院学修規程), for each class.

Specifics of the assessment criteria and methods, being in accordance with the student learning outcomes 1)-3), will be determined prior to the start of the course.
Students must submit the internship report to the Electrical and Electronic Engineering department. The course will evaluate it with the assessment criteria.
