授業の目的（ねらい）、概要
学生は、英語５、英語６、英語７のうち、いずれか1科目の単位を取得する必要がある。英語６は旧６学期（３年次３〜４Q）に開講され、英語５の単位を取得できなかった学生が履修する科目である。なお、この科目は旧課程の科目なので、セメスター制で開講される。
TOEIC形式の問題演習を通じて、語彙や文法の知識を強化し、総合的な英語の運用能力の向上を目指す。
到達目標
コース終了時には、学生は語彙や文法の知識を強化し、聴解力、読解力を中心とした総合的な英語の運用能力を向上させることができる。

授業の進め方
授業の冒頭に前回学習した単語の小テストを行い、その後、教科書を使ってTOEICの問題演習を行う。適宜、英語のニュース資料やビデオも使用する。

準備学修(事前学修・復習)等についての指示
学修効果を上げるため，教科書や配布資料等の該当箇所を参照し，「毎授業」授業内容に関する予習と復習（課題含む）をそれぞれ概ね100分を目安に行うこと。

成績評価の方法及び基準
授業での評価とTOEICスコアの両方を成績判定の対象とする。合格の成績は一律６０点である。詳細はオリエンテーションで説明する。
