Course overview and goals
Students will be sent to international research meetings held in Japan and abroad such as international conferences, and make presentations and debate in a language other than their native language.
Students will learn academic presentation and discussion skills necessary for working in an international setting as a researcher at the front line.

Class flow
Students will create a plan in advance for presentations and debates, rehearsing under the guidance of their academic supervisor. During the assignment students will not just do their own presentation, but also actively debate with other attendees about research. After returning, students will create a report about the content of their presentation and debates, and about accomplishments from the assignment.
